Champakulam is an agricultural village lying in the kuttanad region of Alappuzha district. Alappuzha or Aleppy is known as “Venice of East” and kuttanadu is famous for its vast paddy fields, which is called as “Rice bowl of Kerala”. The historical Moolam boat race is held yearly in this village. The broad paddy fields, coconut farms and waterfowls amidst the fields make our minds cool. It’s one of the best places to explore and feel the rural beauty and culture of Aleppy. St. Mary’s Forona church which is known as one among the first churches in India is situated in this village. The riding houseboats in Pambayar for tourists is one of the beautiful scenes here. We can see religious harmony from the religious feasts of different religions. The famous Alappuzha beach is 15 kms far from champakulam.

Tour Itinerary
Day 01:
Pick up from Cochin Airport/Aleppy Railway Station
Check in into a hotel and the rest of the day in the hotel.
Day 02:
Breakfast at hotel by 08:30. After breakfast you will be
guided to Champakulam village which is part of Kuttanadu region
is known for its rice fields and backwaters. On the way you will
visit ancient St Mary’s Basilica church. After lunch we will go to coir museum, then the most serene and calm Thumpoli beach
and spends time until sunset there.
Day 03:
Breakfast at hotel by 08:30. And sight-seeing will be starting from
09:00 Am. The guide will come to the hotel lobby and take you to
second day activities.
Morning we will drive through village roads in Kainakkary village
where you can see the daily life of villagers. After that we will go
to Aleppy lighthouse to see the city view then walk around Gujrat
Street which is part of Aleppy history. After lunch, evening we will
be riding Shikara boats at Punnamad Lake until sunset.
Day 04:
Breakfast at hotel 08;30 and leisure time until checkout. Airport drop by 12 PM
